Renowned Melbourne based photographer, James Vlahogiannis from Blackwood Studios has been working out of the same studio space since the early 90s. This iconic building in Yarraville, built at the turn of the century served as a key inspiration in the redesign of his logo.

We created a simple, yet bold silhouette of his space with the cross hairs from a camera to create the clear reference to photography. The use of black as a primary colour throughout the brand not only ties it to the name of the studio but also evokes a sense of sophistication and minimalism.
