Vibrant and distinctive were our key words when we were brainstorming a brand identity for Hawker Boys. We needed to accurately represent Hawker Boys’ Asian-inspired street market food that embodies ‘neat chaos’ – fresh, fast and convenient.
The identity we created is a modern Melbourne design aesthetic that references the bright neon lights of street markets and screen printing techniques used in Asia. We extended the brand into store design using illustration that represents street market influences. Our aim was to make sure that the entire customer experience reflected the Hawker Boy story.
