From Italy to Chapel Street – after operating a successful gelati store in Italy, our clients were keen to follow the same formula here. Their artisan approach using only natural, quality ingredients had a ready market in Melbourne. When devising the brand name, we wanted something to tell customers what the store sold yet also conjure up the feelings that a great gelati evokes.
Our solution was ‘Joylati’. With hand-painted images reflecting the art of making gelati, a custom designed script logo font, fresh colour palette and a touch of nostalgia, our design for the interior fit-out complements the branding by being warm, welcoming and lively.
