When a community rallies to keep a part of its local history alive, how can it not be inspirational? When we were asked to rebrand the Yarraville Community Centre before it opened its doors once again, we set about ensuring the identity process was as inclusive of the locals’ input as possible.
This community focus was the catalyst for the new YCC brand identity. We took a raw, naive approach, developing a free form style of illustration and logo, and creating an overall sense of energy, approachability and diversity.
Website Design and Construction
Our design and construction of the YCC website was a big success, comprising the latest in backend technology and updating the user experience. First time around we developed a customised course booking system that changed the way YCC courses were administered and promoted. The result was overwhelming growth in courses and use of the centre.
